All sorts of vintage poster reproductions available <a href="http://www.rainfall.com/posters/default.htm">here</a>. They are super cheap and available in all different sizes. You can even get free shipping if you spend more than $20. Another big change was I cut the legs down a few inches. Bridging the Gap with Fabric

I knew that I wanted to redo our living room after moving, but we are on a really tight budget for the next year. I decided to restrict my decorating budget to the amount we got from our moving/yard sale and then anything that I could sell on Craigslist or eBay. Not surprisingly, I don't have enough to buy a new sofa or even to slipcover my blue Craigslist wing chairs liked I had hoped to (though that is the eventual goal). So my new goal was to find some fabric that tied in all of the colors I already have and some of the colors I want to have in room and to reupholster my coffee-table-turned-ottoman with the new fabric. Shopping for a specific fabric is infinitely easier if you have another fabric swatch to reference. My favorite trick is to snip off the color windows from the selvedge, especially if the print is very colorful and large. Before I had paint decks, I would take pictures of the upholstery I needed to match and then go to the hardware store to pick up paint chips that match the colors in the fabric. It is so helpful when you are looking for a particular combination of colors! This fabric (on the roll) was still on the pricier side - $49.99 per yard. Lucky for me, the people at Zimman's are customer service geniuses and told me that they had about 1.5 yards in the remnant section, the exact yardage I needed for my ottoman. I've received some very kind emails asking for all the details - everything from the fabric I used in the header to where I got my personalized pencil, but especially a lot of questions about who helped me with the design. I've had a blog/website redesign in the works for a while, but in case you didn't know, a graphic/web design for a real-deal website is super expensive (at least for what I had in mind). I shopped around quite a bit and explored many options. I photographed and photoshopped the header using Schumacher's <a href="http://www.fschumacher.com/search/ProductDetail.aspx?sku=173270">Chiang Mai Dragon</a> fabric as the back drop. Schumacher is a to-the-trade manufacturer (though you can buy it through Decorator's Best <a href="http://www.decoratorsbest.com/SearchResult.aspx">here</a>) and is very expensive at full price. If you're willing to be patient, you can find yardage on <a href="http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38&_nkw=chiang+mai+dragon&_sacat=See-All-Categories">eBay</a>. I was able to source enough of the aqua colorway to upholster my dining room settee (pics coming soon, I promise). The green notebook is made by Semikolon from <a href="http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin/paper/index.html">Paper-Source</a>. The gray paper label is from the Martha Stewart craft line sold at Michael's. And the personalized 'Jenny' #2 is from <a href="http://www.explicitlyyourspencils.com/">this great company</a>. I think it was $12 for 12 pencils, or something like that.
